Building Better Futures is an impactful program designed specifically for disengaged young men aged 15 to 19, providing them with the tools and guidance necessary to navigate their transition into adulthood. This raw yet nurturing initiative focuses on teaching participants the expectations placed upon them as they evolve into responsible young men within their communities. Through a structured curriculum, through our RTO partners at Skills Generation, students earn a Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways, as well as a Certificate II in Engineering Pathways. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, enabling students to acquire essential workplace skills and engage in practical activities such as carpentry, welding and fabrication, small engine maintenance, and basic car repairs. For many participants, this exposure marks their first encounter with these skills, igniting a passion that can lead to fulfilling career opportunities.
